Okay, this link, it’s a website to try and get Lisa back on House.

Now, we all know it was her decision and what not, so don’t reblog this with your negative comments about how much things like these aren’t going to work. There have been circumstances where they have worked, and you never know, this could be one of them.

I for one wasn’t going to participate in any of the projects that involved sending anything in until I saw this.

Queen of Hearts is honesty the best shot the fans have at making their voices heard. It is such a well organized website and the people running it know what they are doing. It’s so beautifully done that I actually cried because it gave me hope. We need hope right now. If you love House M.D. and you think it won’t be the same without Lisa, be sure to check this page out.

And please, even if you don’t think these campaigns will work, stop being negative towards those who have hope. Negativity doesn’t get you anywhere in life. These projects aren’t hurting anyone. They may not work in the end, but it’s worth a shot.

If you reblog this off of me with disrespectful comments, expect to be confronted.

Purpose

We have come up with a snail mail campaign to show our support for Lisa Edelstein and her character, Lisa Cuddy, after the recent announcement that she will not be returning for season 8 of House MD. We will be mailing letters and playing cards (Queen of Hearts) to the networks, to encourage them to reconsider Lisa’s contract and negotiate one that is fair to her and the work she’s put into the show over the past seven years.

Guidelines

» Please be respectful. I understand that not only are people sad, they are also flat out angry, but being rude, immature, or making threats will not send a message. General rule of thumb – act as if Lisa is the network; would you curse her out and immaturely tell her how awful she is? No, you’d be polite and calmly state your opinion. We have a far better shot of being taken seriously if we conduct ourselves as mature adults.

» Be courteous and supportive to other fans – we’re all in this together.

» Send as many cards (Queen of Hearts only) as you’d like in separate envelopes. Different sizes, different shapes, different patterns and colors are all welcome – the more variety, the better.

Dear Lisa,

In a world filled with Snooki, Kim Kardashian, and Sarah Palin, it’s really hard to find a woman to look up to. I turned 16 on the 19th, and believe that I am now on the road to becoming the woman and actress I wish to be. And you’ve helped with that. And so has Lisa Cuddy. I’m not even sure if you’re reading this, but it’s good for me to be able to write down how thankful I am to you, by getting me through every day knowing that there is such a thing as a smart, sexy, kind, independent and strong woman. I hope that I become half the women you are, and although I’ll miss seeing you and Hugh on my screen every week, you know what’s best for you, so who am I to try and change that?

You are an amazing woman! While I hate to see you leave House, I want what’s best for YOU! You can do incredible things in the future, and you will!! I will be waiting and then watching!! YOU are the reason I watched (past tense) that show. There is now no reason for me to continue. I think they now have a sense of your fans’ outrage. That is the loyalty you instill. You are just beyond amazing. My heart breaks that you are having to go through this difficult time, but you will win out in the end.

I hope this birthday is the best yet!! You’re 6 months older than me, so I admire you to no end. I hope you are having a day full of the things you love—especially puppy kisses.
